For press

We answer same-day where we can

Available on request:

  • The Empty Ballot List underlying data, methodology, and county sources
  • Our bylaws, nonpartisanship policy, and compensation policy
  • Event invitation logs documenting that every candidate in a covered race was invited on identical terms
  • Interviews with the President, chapter chairs, and workshop alumni who agree to speak

One standing note for reporters: we do not comment on candidates, races, or issues — including off the record. We’ll talk all day about uncontested elections as a phenomenon, about how filing works, and about what our chapters found. That’s the whole beat.

The Filing

The monthly one-page newsletter, archived by month. One imperative, every issue.

Thank you. The Filing arrives once a month.

I Filed

Stories from first-time candidates, published only after the election is certified. We remove campaign content, opponents, parties, and positions, and publish only with your approval of the edited text.

For edit approval. Never published.
Has the result been certified?
Stories are held until certification.
Did you attend Learn to Run?
400–800 words. Please leave out your platform, your opponent, your party, and the issues — we will remove them anyway.

Thank you. An editor will send you the edited version for approval. Stories run after the election is certified, on your county page and the News page.
